A unique Cotswold wedding
Mr and Mrs M took a chance by hiring me as I had only shot one wedding prior to this one. However, I’m a little OCD at the best of times and I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform and produce great results for my clients and I think, Mrs M picked up on that and trusted her choice in photographer. I’m so glad she did as I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this very unique Cotswold wedding and I’m so keen to shoot more! Why was this Cotswold wedding unique? Well, there are so many gorgeous wedding venues in the Cotswolds, that I think brides are spoilt for choice and many choose the beautiful barn conversions and outdoor locations. This wedding was unique as it was held at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester, which is not your quintessential Cotswold venue at all. The Kings Head offers a chic and elegant wedding venue with it’s contemporary decor combined with stunning underground vaulted wine cellars and it even has Roman ruins. It’s a truly spectacular and special venue.
First dance in an underground vault
The wedding day went perfectly to plan and I started off with photographing Bridal prep, which is really, my favourite part of the wedding day to photograph. Makeup was done by the incredible Georgie of Makeup by Georgie and Mrs M’s sisters were in the room which made for a really lively and fun few hours. I photographed Mr M and his best friend of 20 years getting ready and then it was time for them to walk down the aisle. The actual ceremony was lovely and Mr and Mrs M got married without a hitch (scuse the pun!). The party was held in the underground vaults and the lighting and music was amazing. I was a little nervous photographing the first dance as I wanted my exposure to be correct but I also didn’t want to lose all the vibrant colours of the stage lights. I think the photos turned out great and I could not be happier with this wedding.
This is what Mrs M had to say
Tanli has given us memories of our wedding I thought I could only dream of! She is one of the sweetest ladies you could meet, she’s passionate about photography and she is so discreet that’s she’s everywhere she needs to be all at once without you even realising. We couldn’t be happier with the results, I literally look at them every day and feel like I’m there again! Her imagination and creativity means we have perfect photo memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much Tanli, you are literally the BEST!! Xxx
I wish Mr and Mrs M a lifetime of happiness and hopefully i get to photograph some little ‘M&M’s’ in the future……sorry could not resist that one:) If you are looking for an affordable Gloucestershire wedding photographer offering high quality wedding photography, please do get in touch with me here.
